Hello~! I am Emily! I met Chris online back in 2006 and he has helped me a lot with web designing and all that. I run a really cheesy girl site that is too embarrassing to share here. Chris has been getting on my case about not blogging on his blog so here I am. He forced me to do it! So I asked him about his new book that he’s been working on (bugged him is more the right word), and when it will be released. This is what he had to say:

Ok so I know I stated that it is quite possible Depereo will be out early. Just throw that idea out the window. It won’t happen. However, I promise you that it will come out in November unless something extravagant happens where I have to change the content. But yeah, that won’t happen. I will dance naked and upload the video here if something like that were to happen.

But just to tease you, I will show you some screen shots of his book. (I got permission… I promise)

I have to say, I was lucky enough to be part of his editing team for this book. “Dawn” blew my mind out of water when he released it a year ago. But I have to say that this book puts “Dawn” to shame in many ways. It’s a very powerful book and I highly recommend everyone to check it out.

I have been Chris’s anonymous editor for a while now. I hold a bachelors degree in English so I am more than delightful to do this for him. He’s been my number one inspiration for web design techniques for a while now so I am proud that I get to be part of his work sometimes. (Which is also the reason why I got a hold of him so he can teach me. :P) So thanks for reading and expect (or not) me to blog here once a while. And by the way, welcome aboard Monique!

IE6 Fix

Small changes.

Splash page is fixed for IE6. I am not even going to begin trying to fix this blog for IE6. At least people can see that the site will break when they enter the blog. But they can also see the disclaimer up top that IE7 is recommended. Or should I say required.

Also I discarded Design:Related as the social networking site of choice (for now). I added Last.fm. Some cool things with music will happen here I hope.

I also changed graphical links on the splash page to text links for many reasons.

System update, Depereo, and… Audition

The Depereo book is pretty much done. About 99%. I am just waiting for approval on some of the stock photo’s that I used as well as final revision. Then I will show the book internally and then publicly after I get some feed back. It is QUITE possible that the book will be out before the mid November date. The book is 92 pages (!). I am quite proud of it. And it is very powerful.

One note: Nocturne 2.1.0 is coming
