Lets face it, I am not the only one that was heavily disappointed by Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines. Even the sub title itself was just too retarded for me. Although Terminator 3 brought up new distinct philosophy behind the Terminator series, it delivered poor dialogue, storyline and it just felt like I just popped in Terminator 2 into the filmstrip and watched the 2nd one all over again. The best part about Terminator 3 was the whole idea of a “female” Terminator. Inflatable breasts, controlling computers, and she just plain kicked butt. But overall the film was just out right boring and didn’t really just make the cut of Terminator 2.
I know I do these Q&A sessions sporadically, and to be honest it is just my dumb way of consolidating all questions into one so I don’t have to e-mail back / reply back to comments / reply to social networking sites all across the web. And to be honest, I don’t even remember where I saw questions directed at me in order for me to go back and respond in the first place, so… I will answer them here in hopes of you finding the answers to your frequently asked questions.
1. Your Illustrator tutorials page is a bit out dated with the new CS3 and CS4. Are you planning to make changes to these tutorials?
Yes, just give me a bit more time for those.
2. Is your Twilight Nocturne execution coming out in 9.9.09 as promoted?
*crosses fingers* I hope so… if not it will be 10.10.10… Jk? Maybe…
3. I love Depereo! What happened to your other books you said will be released?
I only announced Hana but yes that will be done sooner or later. There is also another book in the works but it is in a different realm compared to Depereo.
4. You’ve been on fire in terms of releasing wallpapers in 2009, can we expect more?
Releasing 2 wallpapers in a duration of 2 months isn’t really on fire to me but at the current moment there is one in the works that may or may not see the light of day.
5. Your links on “.PSD source” is not working. Are you going to fix it?
It is either going to get fixed or be removed altogether. I need to allocate a time to find a good place to store files that is over 500mb’s (and for free). Anyone have any suggestions?
6. You hinted to us a new blog style / design is in the works. When is that coming out?
Hopefully by mid summer. Hopefully.
7. Are you going to release more tutorials on YouTube?
There are no plans for video tutorials any time soon.
8. Are you married? Kids? Who are you really?
No I am not married and I keep that part of my life separate from dreaminfinity.com to a certain degree. Even if I were to have kids, the last thing I would do is put pics of them online. Maybe this will change over time but Dreaminfinity.com is not a “hey I am a happy family guy” website.
9. Any games you’ve played lately that you say you recommend as a designer?
Fallout 3. Great game really.
10. You’ve been releasing your photo work in great mass this year, is there any reason behind that or is that just something you are “into” at the current moment?
I’ve always wanted to release out my photography work I have taken in the past 8 years or so, just didn’t get around in doing it. I started messing around a bit with Flickr but really it just got pretty annoying at how un-customizable it is, and thus why I decided to launch Photografiks finally. I didn’t put too much emphasis on the design of the site as well as the function of it. It’s simple and does what it is suppose to do; show photography work, so I am quite pleased with that.
