Seems like I’ve been away longer than expected from posting here, but I certainly have not forgotten about being an author on this blog. After reading everything posted below by Chris, boy there sure are a lot of elements surrounding the upcoming version of Nocturne, good luck on that Synergy!
Now to show my obvious reasons for being a lazy bum, I’m just going to do a bit of an update here. My photoblog is still up and running, with a few changes here and there to the template, but I think I am more than satisfied with the way it looks now. My flickr portfolio is constantly updated as well whenever I upload a new photo to the blog.
I have been drawing more interest into portrait photography. There are so many elements and components surrounding the area of portrait photography, such as posing, gestures, rule-of-thirds, etc. I can honestly say that photographing people has been much more fun and interesting than walking around taking random landscape/abandoned shots. Besides, it’s always great to have a buddy with you right? =)
Look for more upcoming shots from me!

Got a pack of freelance clients in August. Website update dubbed “Nocturne Phoenix” may or may not happen by the end of August. Sorry for the empty promises if that were to happen.
Nocturne Blog V15.2.0 (current version with v15.1.0 being closed beta) came out on September of 2008. So it would be fair on my end that v15.3.0 “Nocturne Phoenix” comes out a year later…. no?
*shrugs*
But really, some amazing changes are going to happen to this site. Let me list them out:
- Blog section will have two column side bar for increased user friendly navigation and categorization.
- Easy to add social networking links such as facebook, digg, delicious, technorati, and stumble upon
- Pagination navigation bar for increased friendly navigation
- Every blog post, tutorial page, and certain pages will be available through online PDF conversion technology.
- Increased RSS syndication support.
- Desktop wallpapers resolution support will increase in EVERY SINGLE release.
- Multiple mobile phone support (and not just iphone) for EVERY SINGLE wallpaper to date.
- CSS3 implementation for design. (upgrade your browsers, and use Firefox 3.0, Safari, or Opera!)
- IE7 and 8 will be supported to the point of usability.
- Improved “about” section with detailed blog authors and for myself.
- Tutorials will be re-written for CS3+ since some date back to CS1 and C2.
- XHTML/CSS/JQuery Tutorials will come on board.
- Improved links page with implementation of my own delicious bookmarks.
And of course a new design. Hold your seats, this site is about to be resurrected. (not that it’s dead now).

I know some crucial area’s of the site are broken. It’s a bit inevitable at the moment due to the mass amount changes going on in the back end of the website for the release of v15.3.0 “Nocturne Phoenix”. Yes, I know it sucks you can’t access desktop wallpapers. It will be back soon I promise.

I know there has been a lack of updates on the blog end. It’s not so much that I haven’t ran across interesting things, but I just been quite busy with a load of things not related to this site and even design. Either way, I am still alive and well.
Dreaminfinity.com version 15.0.3 dubbed “Nocturne Phoenix” is in the works as stated for the past many months. The only hardship I am having is being convinced with the design and system elements of the actual site. The sites actual back end system is very powerful and it is a major improvement from this current version. I am looking to getting the site up and ready to go before August, although I can state strongly that August is more likely the actual release date. I have to move some mysql database servers around and that isn’t going to be fun.
The site will include all that is included on this blog now plus a bit more. The biggest overhaul of the system is not so much the content but usability improvement.
Execution 4, Twilight Nocturne, will not be released in September. More announcements on that in the future. I am sorry for the delay but it’s just been a hectic year.
