There was a blog post about Eric De La Cruz, brother of anchor woman for CNN, Veronica De La Cruz. This was an important post because it defined the power of social media (twitter to be exact), and how a community of nine inch nails fans can raise 800,000 dollars in a matter of 6 days. This along with the support of Trent Reznor has made a difference in Eric receiving a new heart.

However, to my greatest regret and dissappointment, Eric De La Cruz has passed away. Here is a heart warming page written by his sister Veronica. R.I.P.
