First of all, I would like to congratulate Chris for launching the version of Nocturne Phoenix. The selective coloring of the layout is very unique and nicely designed. Overall, a great accomplishment and another step to the development of Dream Infinity!

As for myself, I have been juggling four classes in my second year of law school, as well as running my Photoblog at the same time. Photography has really become a stress reliever for me along with music. Besides taking photos on a consistent basis, I have started playing the piano again for leisure. The stress of being in graduate school has undoubtedly given me more time to manage my life positively.

It seems to me that my days as a student will live forever. However, at the same time, due to this hectic economy, maybe it is better to be a student for now. I do value the opportunity that life has given me to become a prospective attorney in the near future. Hopefully, it will be rewarding. Good luck everyone else and I wish them the best in their future endeavors!

Seems like I’ve been away longer than expected from posting here, but I certainly have not forgotten about being an author on this blog. After reading everything posted below by Chris, boy there sure are a lot of elements surrounding the upcoming version of Nocturne, good luck on that Synergy!

Now to show my obvious reasons for being a lazy bum, I’m just going to do a bit of an update here.  My photoblog is still up and running, with a few changes here and there to the template, but I think I am more than satisfied with the way it looks now.  My flickr portfolio is constantly updated as well whenever I upload a new photo to the blog.

I have been drawing more interest into portrait photography.  There are so many elements and components surrounding the area of portrait photography, such as posing, gestures, rule-of-thirds, etc. I can honestly say that photographing people has been much more fun and interesting than walking around taking random landscape/abandoned shots. Besides, it’s always great to have a buddy with you right? =)

Lately I haven’t posted on this site, but I’m not gone or dead! I’ve recently revamped my photoblog’s archive system to align all thumbnails in the center, seeing how I was dissatisfied with the overall outcome of my template. So here it is! Liang Ge Photography has been revamped in the past couple of days. I’ve pretty much taken out the old, rugged, unappealing photos from my photoblog and re-installed Pixelpost to backtrack all the decent ones. Given that most of my time has been devoted to studying, my photoblog has not been updated recently. I’ve given the “1 photo every 3 days” approach, and seems like it might extend to 4 or 5 days. It’s just been that hectic for me but I’m trying my best here to post as much as I can. Below are some portraits I shot a couple of weeks ago.
