The focus of being a creative artist is mainly the creative process and it’s goal; the finished product. There are however alot of factors outside the creative process that affect you. It can be small things like never being satisfied with the thing you create or everyone’s worst nightmare – a full on creative block. As a creative artist you will know; the battle are often fought outside the actual creating. In this post, or rant rather, I will comment and share my thoughts about some of these.
Self-confidence or rather the lack there of. This is a tough one and the one I find hardest to write about, but I’ll try my best. Sometimes you have a great idea, but when you do get creative it doesn’t always turn out the way you wanted it. And this can happen because of lot of things. Maybe there’s a skillset you don’t have but need, maybe others don’t seem to fond of the idea, maybe you actually made it but it doesn’t make people respond the way you’d wanted. We could keep going, couldn’t we?

I’m also getting torched by my second year in law school and this semester will be more difficult than ever. Hopefully, I’ll be able to hang in there and survive. Hope all of you had a great start to this upcoming promising new year!

First of all, I would like to congratulate Chris for launching the version of Nocturne Phoenix. The selective coloring of the layout is very unique and nicely designed. Overall, a great accomplishment and another step to the development of Dream Infinity!
As for myself, I have been juggling four classes in my second year of law school, as well as running my Photoblog at the same time. Photography has really become a stress reliever for me along with music. Besides taking photos on a consistent basis, I have started playing the piano again for leisure. The stress of being in graduate school has undoubtedly given me more time to manage my life positively.
It seems to me that my days as a student will live forever. However, at the same time, due to this hectic economy, maybe it is better to be a student for now. I do value the opportunity that life has given me to become a prospective attorney in the near future. Hopefully, it will be rewarding. Good luck everyone else and I wish them the best in their future endeavors!

Lately I haven’t posted on this site, but I’m not gone or dead! I’ve recently revamped my photoblog’s archive system to align all thumbnails in the center, seeing how I was dissatisfied with the overall outcome of my template. So here it is! BTW, Chris, your portraits are awesome, I love the soft processing!

I am not sure how many people actually follow my photografiks page but its been updated with a butt load of new photography. To be honest, it’s been updated with a bunch of portrait shots I have done over the years of 2001 ~ 2006. I’m hoping to do some new portrait photography sessions soon with models but that is of course if I have time which is a bit scarce as of lately.
Either way, I am still alive and working on a bunch of stuff.
