Execution 4 & 5…Whats up?

Date September 28, 2006 | Published by |

Many people are writing me about EXE 4 and 5 so here are my answers:

1) What is EXE 4 and 5? New web layouts?

No. Execution 4 and 5 are completely different method of presentation compared to execution 1, 2, and 3. They are going to be what I call the “multi-medium project” which is a combination of film, print campaign, flash site (to promote the project), and web presentation. In greater detail, execution 4 will be a photographs from an installation piece I did back in 2003, film, written story, and a flash site (to promote the project). I am thinking about a book to follow with the making of the film and back stage look into it but I am not sure yet. This project is respectively titled “perplex”. Many people have been waiting for this since the announcement in 2003, and I am sorry to keep you waiting. Execution 5 will be a film, print campaign, and a web presenation all bundled together. The film is currently titled “Love Drawn Dagger” and is in the production stages.

2) Will these films be available in HD?

The actual film was not shot in HD so the answer is no.

3) Are these going to be on DVD or shown on the web?

The web.

4) Will you have print materials to promote these films?

It is considered but not the most important aspect at the moment.

5) Is the perplex project still what it was back in 2003? We see the trailer for it in the portfolio page. Will it follow the similar style and idea?

It has evolved into something else. It’s in the works so no worries.

6) Who is all involved in Exe 4 and 5?

It will all be revealed when the project is complete. Execution 4 logo design is done by Katherine Kwan. (http://www.kkwandesign.com/)

7) What software are you using for Exe 4 and 5?

Photoshop CS2, Illustrator CS2, Aftereffects 7, Final Cut Pro HD 5, DVD Studio Pro 4, Ableton Live, Apple Logic Studio, Cinema 4D, Flash, yeah… and some others.

8) When is it going to be released?

Execution 5 is currently in plan for 2007 release. Yes… Exe 5 may get released before Exe 4. Don’t ask.

I want someone to help keep Dream Infinity Studios up to date and to par.

If you’re interested, please contact me at the contact link. I don’t ask you to have advanced knowledge of design software as long as you know the fundamentals of Photoshop, Illustrator, and web design.
